The Military Wife’s Reality, Bravery, and Story. Newborn Session Giveaway- Camp Lejeune, NC Photographer

I had Grace while Steven was deployed. It was definitely a time where I felt a lot of love and support. It was also a time where I had to be stronger than I ever have been. I’m giving five newborn sessions this year to those who will be giving birth when their husbands will be deployed.
What urged me to do this? Well, it’s kind of a big deal for a woman to give birth without their husband. We aren’t meant to be alone as humans. So a deployment definitely feels unnatural for all of us. To not see our spouses for 7-8 months is rough.. and our hearts are sad to be apart from them. To give birth without them, well that’a a whole new struggle. Not only do we miss them, but we desperately want them to hold our hand as we go through some of the toughest  and most SPECIAL moments of our lives, where we have to be nothing but courageous and fearless. We can’t be anything less than that. We are about to welcome our baby/babies into this world. It’s against our nature to not show our children that everything will be alright and that Mommy has everything under control. We have this overwhelming and natural instinct to nurture, protect, and to make sure everything will be alright.
That’s where the community comes in to play. It’s our job to show those women that they are loved, supported, and appreciated. Although our husband’s are the courageous warriors protecting our freedom in a war. We are the courageous women on the home front making sure everything runs smoothly and that life still goes on (I mean hello, you can’t pause a pregnancy!;D) It’s a tough task and this is to show all the women (pregnant or not) who have gone through the same things I have that you ARE loved and cared for! That your hardwork does not go unseen.
Please share if you know someone. Must be in the Camp Lejeune area in the next six months. I will be taking submissions for the next several weeks 🙂

Here is my story!
