Newborn and Maternity Photographer Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville to Wilmington, NC.

While I love capturing two people in love commit their lives to one another on their Wedding day, my new passion is truly capturing the stage that usually comes after that. Motherhood. I guess it’s because I’m a mother and I know how precious and miraculous that time is. Well you’re pregnant for 9 months, so you have time to take in the “idea” that you’re going to have a baby, but the time after the baby is born to when they grow up, goes by way too fast! Sometimes I wish Grace was still laying down, smiling, and cooing at me. But it goes by like a wink. That’s why I make sure to take at least one photo and a video each week. Just so I remember, one year from now, what she was like. Each stage is different and so wonderful, that I’d hate to let my memory fail on me and forget it!!!

That’s where I come to maternity and newborn sessions.

If you think they grow too fast, well the first two weeks goes by even faster. That’s why it’s so important to get their wrinkly toes, big pouty lips, and milk drunk smiles captured, because one year later, you will probably think of that week as a blur. I know I do.

Here are a few samples of maternity and newborn sessions I’ve been working on 🙂

So if you are considering maternity and newborn sessions, I’d say this is one thing you would not regret investing in.
